Toontrack EZXpansion-Claustrophobic is a very open collection of drum samples. Why is this expansion pack for the EZdrummer sampler called Claustrophobic? Mainly because it was recorded in a small room.
But don't be fooled. Using a variety of drumheads, room, and microphone configurations, Swedish metal skinsmith Per Mikaelsson (HEEL) has banged out the kind of beats that would fuse well with today's cutting edge R&B, hip-hop, and pop music. Sampled through a high-quality outboard with distortion, reverb, compression, and attack fields in the internal mixer it also allows you to access mixer presets by STS 9, Richard Devine, DJ Amplive, sub-ID and Count Bass D. You can even save your own mixer presets with EZdrummer 1.1 installed.
Having a hard time finding some good sounding beats? Fear not. Claustrophobic will have you breathing a sigh of relief.
